a salute to an old sketchbook

The excitement of today is that I finished my sketchbook! Often, you can find me making notes and furiously sketching things I see passing by me while I'm on the bus.

it was abundant but well groomed:
facial hair, bushy eyebrows,
a volumninous, shiny head of hair
he couldn't keep his hands out of it...
