I remember at the back of the kitchen closet, on a hard, wide beam of wood with bumpy ridges, a rough stick-figure cartoon cat with the word "STINKY" writ large over its snaggle-toothed head. No one ever admitted to doing it, but I think I stole the entire doodle verbatim from a Tom and Jerry cartoon.Whereas, in contrast to we furtive vandals in thrall to the muse, a friend of mine back then had an entire wall of his bedroom covered in small, neat games of tic-tac-toe. And I have to assume his parents considered this perfectly acceptable.
It takes extra creativity to do it on the sly, don't you think? I love your kitchen closet story, thanks for sharing!
what about the story of the scary handprints behind the door? hmmm??? i'd love to hear the story about that...
You were scared of the handprints? That masterpiece was done a bit more experimentally. I simply smeared my wet hands on the wall, and it made a permanent mark! I was really pleased with the effect...I guess you weren't so impressed.
When I was a child, I saw white walls as fresh canvas. However my parents disagreed.Good story.
